Common Operating Machine Personally Used for Technical Education and Research 

Its name clearly explain the use of computer. Computer, initially used for technical and research purpose where large number of calculation take place and it not easy to calculate by human. if we discussed what is made of computer then it is divided in two parts 

1. Hardware

2. Software

1. Hardware: The physical appearance of computer is hardware. i.e. every part of computer that can be physically touch or available is called hard. for example; Monitor, Keyboard. CPU

2. Software: The part of computer that physically not available but help to user to operate computer or work as interface between user and computer hardware. for example MS Dos, Windows.

Hardware is of two type.

1- Input Hardware- The hardware through which an instruction given to computer or data or command given to computer is called input hardware. e.g.

• Keyboard.
• Image scanner.
• Microphone.
• Pointing device. 
• Graphics tablet. 
• Joystick. 
• Light pen. 
• Mouse.
• Pointing stick. 
• Touchpad. 
• Touchscreen. 
• Trackball.
• Sound card.
• Webcam. Softcam.

2- Output Hardware- The Hardware through which we i.e. user get information, data, or processed data is called output hardware.

• Printers (all types)
• Plotters.
• Projector.
• LCD Projection Panels.
• Speaker(s)
• Head Phone.
